Snappy vs Goody: Which Gifting Platform for Your Team?
Snappy and Goody solve the same problem: you pick a budget, each employee chooses their own gift, and nobody collects home addresses. The differences are in the free plans, where they ship and what the paid tiers add. Here is how they compare, with a third option if you’d rather nothing ships at all.
Quick answer
Both let employees choose their own gift and charge only for gifts that are accepted. Goody’s free Starter plan covers unlimited sends in the US, Canada and the UK; its Pro plan ($20 per user a month) adds 140+ countries and digital gift cards. Snappy ships to 176+ countries, has a free Essential plan, and puts HRIS and Slack integrations on its $2,000-a-year Elevated plan.

How Snappy works
You choose a Collection at a set budget, anywhere from $5 to $15,000 with shipping included, and each employee picks one item from it. Snappy says it charges only for gifts that are claimed. The free Essential plan connects through Zapier or Make; the Elevated plan ($2,000 a year) adds 40+ HRIS connections such as ADP, Workday and BambooHR plus Slack and Microsoft Teams; Salesforce and the API are Enterprise features. Snappy ships to 176+ countries.
How Goody works
You set a price point or build a custom collection, and the employee accepts the gift and types in their own address, so HR never handles addresses. If you switch on swapping, people can trade the gift for another one that costs the same or less, and any difference goes back to your balance. Goody charges the gift value only when a gift is accepted; expired gifts cost nothing. The free Starter plan allows unlimited sends in the US, Canada and the UK. Pro ($20 per user a month, billed yearly) adds 140+ countries and digital gift cards, and the Team plan adds Salesforce, HubSpot and 200+ HRIS integrations.
Which one should you pick?
- A US, Canadian or UK team on a tight process: Goody’s free Starter plan covers it without a subscription.
- Employees in many countries: Snappy lists 176+ countries on its site; Goody needs the Pro plan for international sends.
- You need HRIS sync or Slack: compare Snappy Elevated ($2,000 a year) with Goody Team (by quote); both put integrations behind the paid tier.
- You hate the idea of paying for gifts nobody opens: both charge only for accepted gifts, so the budget you set is a ceiling, not a bill.
